I was instrumental in setting up this School at the Embassy in Rangoon. I was posted at the Embassy. Lack of educational facilities for the children of Embassy staff was the immediate need for opening the School. When the School started, spouses of Embassy officers and staff offered teaching services. Saraswati stotra “Yakundedu Tushara Hara Dhawala” was the School Prayer. CBSC had been approached for books, curriculum and related help. Extremely happy and pleased to know that the School is now a functioning vibrant institution, and would be 50 year old in 2022.
